For this project, we implemented a lot of custom code in WooCommerce to make it work for the company’s requirements. Voorn Croquettes is a company dedicated in the manufacture of croquettes with all natural ingredients and without preservatives. For this reason, they required the shipping to be the fastest possible, within reasonable costs. Depending on the zone where the customer is located, with have adjusted WooCommerce to show different options. For instance, if the order is going to Georgia, the system will show ground shipping, because from the store’s base (Florida) they can reach Georgia within two days via ground shipping. If the customer si shipping to outside of within reach of two-day ground, the system will offer UPS 2nd Day Air. Also, we are using Genesis Framework, WPML to handle the Dutch translation, and other plugins and extensions.
